Transforming Science Teaching: Planning for the Post-COVID “New Normal”
This learning sequence brings together science education leaders from across the country to share, discuss, reflect and dream about improving science instruction for social justice. The COVID pandemic amplified existing inequities, and we must take action individually and collectively to address them. Each session will last approximately 90 minutes and include a presentation and opportunities to work in small groups to plan for action.
UCI CalTeach is a blended undergraduate program that offers STEM students the opportunity to complete a bachelor’s degree and a California teaching credential in just four years! Students in the following disciplines: Biology, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Earth System Science are eligible to apply for the program.
